The Police has shot, injured and arrested one of three men suspected of holding up a bus that transported passengers on the Santo Domingo-Barahona route on Wednesday, 30 December 2015. The suspect was identified as Ronald Perez, 27, who was found in possession of a 9mm gun and a tablet belonging a woman named as Berenice Gonzalez, who was on the bus where the armed robbery took place.
His brother and another young man identified as Ivan or Omar are still on the run. He was arrested in Batey Bombita.
