The President’s Office has been handing out thousands of gifts to children from poor families around the country, coordinated by the Presidency Social Assistance Plan, as reported by the government.
Social Plan director general Cesar Prieto said that truckloads of gifts have been sent to several provinces since last week. The donations have been received via the First Lady’s Office, provincial governments and charitable foundations.
