The National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) has confiscated 150 packages of what is thought to be cocaine or heroin from inside a container at the Multimodal Port of Caucedo from where it was due to be transported by ship to Barcelona.
According to a press release, DNCD officers were acting on information received that the ship called Seaspan Hamburg was being used to transport drugs.
They are now investigating to establish who was responsible. The drugs have been sent to the National Institute of Forensic Science (INACIF) to confirm what they are and the exact weight.
