Will tonight be the night? After comfortably winning the regular season and the playoffs, the Tigres del Licey put in the poorest of showings by losing the first four games of the nine games, win five series against the Leones del Escogido in Santo Domingo.
The Tigres saved face on Sunday evening, 24 January 2016, by winning the game that keeps them in the playoffs.
Yesterday was a day off before the series resumes at the Quisqueya stadium this evening, Tuesday 26 January 2016. Again, if the Leones del Escogido win tonight they win the playoffs. To win the series, Licey needs to win all the next four games.
