The film, “Duarte, traicion y gloria” starring leading Dominican actor Ivan Garcia will be shown at the Comisionado Dominicano de Cultura in New York City this Saturday, 30 January 2016. The film by director Leo Silverio will be screened at 7pm at the Teatro Rafael Villalona located on the second floor, 541 West 145th St. and Broadway, in Manhattan. Admission is free. The Ministry of Culture has organized the event as part of celebrations for the anniversary of Duarte’s birth in January and National Independence Day in February.
