Cies poll says there will be second round of election

Another poll on the outcome of the presidential elections has been published, this time from Cies International, based in Miami.

The poll said that if the elections were to be held today, President Danilo Medina (PLD) would obtain 48.5% and Luis Abinader (PRM) 37.1% that would mean there would be a second round of voting.

The poll also looked at the candidate for mayor for the National District, which gave 47.3% to current mayor Roberto Salcedo and 36.7% to David Collado, PRM candidate. Sixteen percent said they did not know whom they would vote for.
