The National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) has confiscated 10.5 kilos of cocaine found inside an electricity generator that arrived at Las Americas airport on a Copa Airlines cargo flight from Panama.
DNCD agents, with the help of a canine unit, found the drugs, which were wrapped in 11 packets, in the cargo terminal. So far no one has been arrested.
The generator that contained the drugs had been in the terminal since Saturday, 30 January 2015 but no one had been to collect it.
