US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers in Puerto Rico intercepted an attempted illegal exportation of currency when they discovered US$518,980 hidden in a cargo container in the Caribbean Fantasy ferry. The money was found during a search carried out before the passenger ferry set sail for the Dominican Republic.
