The January 2016 Gallup-Hoy poll revealed that 93% of eligible voters believe there is discrimination in the application of the law by the judiciary. An overwhelming 94% of those polled also said that there is corruption in the judiciary, while 71% believed that the judiciary operates poorly, and 78% say that the prosecutors and judges are responsible for the deficiencies. When asked how the judiciary operates compared to three years ago, 49.8% responded that it has worsened.
The results were published in Hoy on Saturday, 6 February 2016. The poll was carried out from 24-27 January 2016.
