New direct flight from SDQ to Trinidad & Tobago

Dominican Wings began charter flights from Las Americas International Airport (SDQ) to Trinidad & Tobago on Friday, 5 February 2016. A second flight is scheduled to depart for Piarco Airport (POS) in Port-of-Spain, capital of Trinidad & Tobago at 2pm on Tuesday, 9 February. The flight takes two hours.

The flights are on demand, and the airline is catering to tour operators booking groups of tourists. Dominican Wings spokesman Victor Pacheco announced that the airline was using A320 airplane with Dominican registration and with capacity for 180 passengers. He announced they would soon be including a flight to Puerto Plata.

The airline is an affiliate of Lithuanian carrier, Avion Express, but is a Dominican company with Dominican investors too.
