Some 400 pairs of cowboys and more than 150 quarter horses will compete at the Classic Derby to take place at Rancho Don Rey in Sabana de la Mar from 19-21 February 2016. There will be competitions in reining, ranch sorting, open, and roping, according to race organizer Fauntly Garrido. Rancho Don Rey Equestrian Club is 2 km outside the town of Sabana de la Mar.
