DR takes over CELAC presidency

Foreign Minister Andres Navarro was in New York yesterday, Thursday 18 February 2016 to receive the temporary presidency of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) at the United Nations headquarters. Navarro said the DR would promote proactive actions aimed at tackling the shared problems that affect the organization’s 33 member countries.
