Jail sentences in Francina Hungria case

The Third Collegiate Tribunal of the National District has ordered 30 and 20-year jail sentences for three of the men accused of shooting and injuring engineer Francina Hungria. Hungria lost her eyesight after an incident in November 2012 in which one of the assailants fired at her when she was about to board her vehicle after they had robbed a woman pedestrian. Hungria was working on a construction project at the time.
