The meteorological office (Onamet) says that an eastward moving front will affect Dominican territory starting this afternoon, Friday 19 February 2016 and throughout the weekend.
The front will bring light rains and cool temperatures nationwide. Noon high temperatures of 30C are forecast, and early morning lows of 21C.
High surf is forecast for the Atlantic Coast.
