Alianza Pais and several other minority parties in the Electoral Alliance for Democratic Change (Alianza Pais, Camina RD, Patria para Todos y Todas, Propuesta Institucional Cristiana, Fuerza de la Revolucion) have called on citizens to use social media to report on any illegal use of government funds they witness being used for the re-election campaign of President Danilo Medina and other ruling PLD party officials.
They stated their belief that Medina’s use of the Presidential Palace as his campaign headquarters was not legitimate.
Members of the public are asked to tag any reports with #PLDHaceTrampa or to send videos, photos and evidence to the following email address: denuncialatrampa@gmail.com
