San Juan de la Maguana Senator Felix Bautista has withdrawn his defamation suit against journalist Juan Taveras Hernandez (aka Juan TH), Willy Rodriguez and Bienvenido Rodriguez, the director and owner of Z101, the radio station where Juan TH made the statements that led Bautista to file the suit. The parties reached an agreement to settle their differences yesterday, Tuesday 23 February 2016. The Fourth Penal Court then closed the case and set the date for the reading of the decision for 8 March 2016. Felix Bautista is secretary of organization of the ruling PLD party.
