The organizing committee of the National District Superior Basketball Tournament has announced the start of the tournament for this Sunday, 28 February 2016. The competitors are San Lazaro, San Carlos, Mauricio Baez, Los Prados, Bameso, Huellas del Siglo, El Millon and Rafael Barias. The tournament is taking place at the Palacio de los Deportes in Santo Domingo. The opening is scheduled for 4pm with the clash between San Carlos and Mauricio Baez, the inauguration, followed by a match between Rafael Barias and San Lazaro.
