According to the police, two men have died from gunshot wounds in a duel, allegedly over a woman.
The police version of events says that the men made an appointment to meet for the duel in a deserted spot at 5pm on Sunday, 28 February 2016.
The victims were 26-year old Miguel Angel Castillo Escano (Luna), who lived in Rancho al Medio and 32-year old Domingo Antonio Rodriguez Garcia (Mingo Lola), who lived in Salcedo.
Reportedly, they were both in love with a woman known as Kika who lives in Moca, around eight kilometers from Salcedo.
According to the medical examiner, Castillo Escano died from a gunshot wound to the chest and was also shot in the left leg and the right foot, while Rodriguez Garcia died from two gunshot wounds to the chest.
