It was recently announced that the filming of “XXX: The Return of Xander Cage” starring Vin Diesel would take place in Pinewood Studios in Juan Dolio. The company has since disclosed that beginning in March, locations in Puerto Plata province, including Cabarete will also be used for filming.
According to the production team, the filming will start during the second week of March and hundreds of film crew members are expected to descend on the north coast. Hotel rooms are likely to be in short supply during this time.
Filming is also due to take place in Las Salinas in Bani to the southwest of Santo Domingo.
