The president of the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ) and Judicial Branch Council (CPJ) Mariano German Mejia inaugurated the one-stop shop for property paperwork yesterday, Tuesday 1 March 2016. He said the aim was to provide swift services but reminded users that the paperwork still needs to meet established standards. There are additional fees for the VIP paperwork service.
The service will be available for reception of documents from 7:30am to 6pm at the Supreme Court headquarters and at offices of the Direcciones Regionales de Mensuras Catastrales, but during their normal working hours.
He said the service would be digitalized for a second phase of the program in order to speed up the processing of the paperwork.
