The Supreme Court of Justice in full has elected judge Victor Castellanos Estrella as the new member of the Judicial Branch Council representing the judges of the Supreme Court of Justice for the 2016-2021 period.
Judges Estanislao Radhames Rodriguez (court of appeals), Fernando Fernandez (first instance courts) and Leonardo Recio Tineo (justices of peace) were elected councilors of the judges by 667 voting judges. Castellanos Estrella will replace Dulce Maria Rodriguez de Goris who completes her term on 21 March after five years in the post.
