27-year old French tourist Alexis Jonathan Boudet died over the weekend of 12-13 March 2016 when he was run over by the boat that had transported him to Bahia de las Aguilas. As reported in Hoy, Boudet was scuba diving in the area with his girlfriend and two other friends when he sustained serious head and arm injuries, which caused his death. The boat belonged to the Restaurant Rancho Tipico La Cueva. As reported, the captain of the boat fainted when he was informed of the accident.
