The National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) has arrested a 71-year old woman in possession of 125 portions of what is thought to be cocaine, crack and marijuana in Capotillo in Santo Domingo and another 31-year old woman who tried to take more than 238 grams of drugs into La Victoria jail hidden in her vagina.
Both have been sent to await a hearing to establish the pretrial custody terms.
The 71-year old woman was found to have 69 portions of a substance presumed to be cocaine, 24 of crack and 32 of marijuana weighing 112 grams, and she was arrested near a beauty salon on Jose Marti Street.
