The National Police have reported that agents attached to the Central Anti Narcotics Division (DICAN) along with members of the Central Criminal Intelligence Division have arrested two men with 40 pounds of what is thought to be marijuana.
According to the police the arrest was made on Av. 27 Febrero at the corner with Av. Maximo Gomez in Santo Domingo and the two men, Elias Vicente Valdez Roa and Juan Antonio Poche, were stopped in a Toyota bus with the drugs inside.
They are now awaiting the judicial process to begin.
