The Turkish Ambassador in the Dominican Republic, Aydin Evirgen is encouraging Dominican students to apply for the full scholarships offered by his government. The scholarships for undergraduate or postgraduate studies include airfares, medical insurance, student accommodation, meal allowance and personal stipends of US$200, US$300 and US$400. There is no limit on the university or degree. The deadline for applications is 31 March 2016.
The Turkish government is offering 16,000 scholarships in 105 universities in 55 cities.
