The Central Electoral Board (JCE) has extended the deadline for political parties to correct any previous registration errors and complete the registration of their candidates and alliances for the 15 May 2016 general election until noon today, Monday, 21 March 2016. Many of the political parties had failed to comply with the 33% quota of electoral posts for women and other requirements by the original 16 March deadline.
