Good year for La Romana hotels

La Romana-Bayahibe Hotels Association president Daniel Hernandez says that 2015 was another good year for the destination. He told the press that La Romana-Bayahibe hotels had posted an 84.86% average occupancy rate for the year, which is 0.5% higher than 2014. He mentioned events organized by the Association such as the Bayahibe 10K run and the La Romana-Bayahibe golf tournament. He listed the weather, strategic location, environmental conservation and maintenance of high security standards as the main reasons for the destination’s good performance. Hernandez was recently re-elected to chair the regional tourism sector organization whose member hotels include Casa de Campo, Be Live Collection Canoa, Catalonia Gran Dominicus, Dreams La Romana, Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus, Viva Wyndham Dominicus and Cadaques Bayahibe.
