Members of the Dominican Armada (Navy) have stopped 14 Haitians and five Dominicans on the coast of Uveros de Boca de Yuma in La Altagracia province. They were trying to cross the Mona Channel illegally to get to Puerto Rico.
A press release stated that they were now searching for the trip organizers along with the captain.
