Museums in Santo Domingo are staying open until late at night on Saturday, 2 April 2016. This is part of the celebration of the Long Night of Museums for Spring 2016. A Long Night of Museums is held four times a year, with the changing of the seasons. Museums organize special events and welcome hundreds of visitors from 9am to 12 midnight. This year the Centro Leon and Monumento de los Heroes de la Restauracion in Santiago are taking part for the first time.
