The National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (Anje) has announced that President Danilo Medina turned down its invitation to take part in the presidential candidates’ debate set for 18 April 2016. The event will be held from 8 to 10pm. Luis Abinader (PRM), Elias Wessin Chavez (PQDC), Guillermo Moreno (Al Pais), Minou Tavarez Mirabal (APD) and Soraya Aquino (PUN) have confirmed their participation.
Pelegrin Castillo of the FNP and Hatuey de Camps of the PRSD also declined to participate.
