Guillermo Moreno proposes tax cuts for small business

Guillermo Moreno of Alianza Pais is the first presidential candidate to come forward to announce that if elected, his government would cut taxes to favor small business and family businesses. In a presentation to the membership of the Inter-American Business Association (ASINE) he said that his government would eliminate the obligation for small business to pre-pay their taxes. He said that structures needed to be created for tax exemptions for small business. At present, these exemptions give priority to big business.

He also proposed the introduction of bonuses for medium and small-scale businesses for each new job created, especially in the cases of first jobs for young people without work experience.

He also said his government would prioritize exports using diplomacy. He said he would turn embassies and consulates into true promoters of national production.
