Greenberg: Medina 59%, Abinader 32%

With five weeks to go, 59% of eligible voters told Greenberg-Diario Libre pollsters they would vote for President Danilo Medina. 32% said they would vote for Luis Abinader. In a previous Greenberg poll published in Diario Libre in February, Medina had 55% and Abinader 34%.

The other presidential candidates were Guillermo Moreno with 3% and Minou Tavarez with 1%. Pelegrin Castillo, Soraya Aquino and Elias Wessin received less than 1% each.

The poll also revealed that the Medina’s repeat choice of Vice President Margarita Cedeno as his running mate had added to his popularity.
