A study carried out by Oxfam, Flacso-RD and Casa Ya of Foro Ciudadano has found that the Dominican Republic has a housing deficit of two million. The study reveals that furthermore, 1,147,858 households in the DR do not have access to potable water, energy, garbage collection and other basic services.
