Foundation for Institutionalism and Justice (Finjus) executive vice president Servio Tulio Castanos said yesterday, Sunday 10 April 2016 that political parties in the country have become “tools for money laundering.”
He pointed out that this election the Central Electoral Board (JCE) has showed renewed strengthening as an institution, more than the political parties. Castanos was speaking on the “Aqui es la Noticia” news program on Channel 25.
“You can see that the political parties, unfortunately, and one would not want to say so, but it is a reality, and the president of the JCE himself has warned about this, have become tools for money laundering because they do not identify the donations and that is a serious matter,” said Castanos.
