Santo Domingo hotels celebrate culinary week

Chefs from Santo Domingo’s main hotels in are showcasing their skills. From Monday to Saturday, 25 to 30 April 2016, chefs from eight Santo Domingo Hotels Association member hotels will be preparing and serving special four-course dinners to highlight the fine cuisine available at their restaurants in Santo Domingo. Tickets to the dinners are RD$1,200 per person, including taxes.

The chefs are Joel Marquez of the Radisson Santo Domingo Hotel, German Perez of the Catalonia Santo Domingo, Cristian Shinya of the Crowne Plaza, Juan Martinez of the Dominican Fiesta, Marco Sanchez of the Renaissance Jaragua, Victor Mosqueda of the Embassy Suite by Hilton, Luis Eduardo Ramos of the Holiday Inn and Manuel Batista of the Sheraton.

On Saturday, 30 April there will be a special dinner when the eight chefs will be cooking in front of the diners. Working in special modular kitchens set up for the evening, they will be preparing the dish that was most popular during the culinary week.
