Domingo Martinez, who was driving the truck that crushed Arisleidy Cabrera Polanco’s vehicle on Circunvalacion Sur in Santiago on Tuesday, 12 April 2016, has been sent to three months pre-trial custody. Commenting on the tragic accident via Twitter, Attorney General Francisco Dominguez Brito said that Cabrera, who worked as a lawyer in the city’s Palacio de Justicia, had recently won a tender to be a prosecutor for Santiago. Martinez is accused of reckless driving. Cabrera was killed when the truck Martinez was driving overturned and crushed her in her Toyota Corolla.
