Rossy Felix has become the first Dominican fencer to qualify for the Olympic Games. She won the right to compete during the Pan-America qualifier held in San Jose, Costa Rica over the weekend of 16-17 April 2016. She won the slot in her last chance to secure a place at the Olympic Games.
She competed against 82 fencers from 32 regional countries in foil, epee and sabre events.
