Yesterday, Tuesday, 19 April 2016 President Danilo Medina swore in a total of 26 institutions and individuals as members of the 2030 Sustainable Development Monitoring Commission.
The Executive Branch created the commission earlier this year in order to implement the Sustainable Development Agenda as part of the National Development Strategy, which will now be known as the Sustainable Development Commission.
The commission members include Vice President Margarita Cedeno de Fernandez, representing the Cabinet of Coordination of Social Policies of the Presidency and Minister of Economy Juan Temistocles Montas.
