According to the Police, an Army sergeant killed his four-year old son and injured his ex-wife and former father-in-law before committing suicide in Villa Central in the southwestern province of Barahona. Sergeant Deyvi Rocha Codones killed his four-year old son Victor Manuel Feliz with his former wife, Dorka Lenny Feliz, who was injured in the attack together with her father, 61-year old Manuel Cuevas Feliz. The father-in-law had to undergo surgery at the Barahona hospital. According to reports, Rocha arrived at Dorka’s house wielding a gun and she ran away when she saw he was armed. After killing his son and injuring his father-in-law, Rocha committed suicide. The couple had been separated for four months because he had been violent.
