A panel of jurors has selected Ossygeno Models Management agency model, 23-year old Sal Garcia to represent the Dominican Republic in the 2016 Miss Universe contest. She was representing the province of Monsenor Nouel (Bonao).
Mercedes Anabel Abreu, representing the province of Santo Domingo, was the runner-up at the event, which was held yesterday, Sunday 24 April 2016.
