The Alfonso Cabrera y Asociados poll says the mayoral race between incumbent mayor Roberto Salcedo (PLD) and newcomer David Collado of the PRM will be close. Salcedo is seeking his fourth term at the helm of the National District government. The poll carried out on 9 May 2016 shows that the vote would go 49.5% for Salcedo and 47.8% for David Collado. The poll shows that in the past 30 days, Collado has increased 12 percentage points and Salcedo has lost five percentage points, as reported in Listin Diario.
