The candidates for senator and mayor of Santiago for the ruling PLD, Julio Cesar Valentin and Abel Martinez, are leading in the JCE vote counts for the province and city. Valentin is in the lead with 79% of the vote, while Martinez has 55% of the vote over Jose Enrique Sued with 30%, according to the third bulletin issued by the Santiago electoral board.
