With 66.9% of the votes counted, Danilo Medina of the PLD and allied parties has 61.57% of the votes and Luis Abinader of the PRM has 35.37%, according to the Central Electoral Board’s (JCE) fifth bulletin released at 10pm yesterday evening, Monday, 16 May 2016. Guillermo Moreno of Alianza Pais has 1.75%. The other results are Elias Wessin Chavez of the Quisqueya Democratic Christian Party (PQDC) with 0.40%, Pelegrin Castillo of the National Progressive Force (FNP) with 0.31%, Minou Tavarez Mirabal of the Alliance for Democracy (APD) with 0.32%, Hatuey de Camps of the Social Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRSD) with 0.15% and Soraya Aquino of the National Unity Party (PUN) with 0.10%.
