In its seventh bulletin, the Central Electoral Board (JCE) reports that with 81% of the votes counted, President Danilo Medina of the PLD and allies have maintained the lead with 61.61% of the vote (2,297,813 votes). This includes 50.21% for the PLD itself. Luis Abinader of the PRM and allies followed with 35.22% of the vote (1,313,581).
Guillermo Moreno of Alianza Pais is in third place, with 1.8% (67,060 votes).
