Work has begun this week for the removal of political propaganda in Santo Domingo.
Victor (Ito) Bisono of the PRSC, campaign director for mayor-elect of the National District David Collado (PRM + PRSC) set the example by removing his own. The work to remove the propaganda began the day after the election, Monday 16 May 2016 on the Ortega y Gasset and Nicolas de Ovando avenues, along Camino Chiquito and the neighborhood of Los Restauradores, as reported in El Nuevo Diario.
Bisono, who ran for deputy for the PRSC for a large area in northern Santo Domingo was reelected.
Reporters witnessed campaign propaganda being dismantled along Av. San Vicente de Paul in Santo Domingo East. Greater Santo Domingo has been under siege by politicians for the past six months with propaganda dominating city spaces.
