The Centro Leon Cultural Center in Santiago has announced that admission will be free this Saturday, 21 May 2016 as part of the celebrations of International Museum Day. The center will be open to the public from 10am to 7pm. There will be arts and crafts bazaar, storytelling at the Mediateca at 11am, and a talk on how to create an art collection, with a focus on the Juan Manuel Portela Bisono collection, for children between the ages of seven and 10 accompanied by an adult. At 5pm there will be a guided tour of the Portela exhibition with artist Jorge Pineda. At 7:30pm, there will be a live performance by Felle Vega, Rafelito Mirabal, Carlos Estrada and Cuquin Curiel. The cafeteria will be open until 10pm.
