Casa de Campo announces plans to expand to Bayahibe

Casa de Campo president Rafael Torres has disclosed plans to build new hotels and open sales of homes in the Bayahibe beach area. He was speaking at the JW Marriott Hotel in Santo Domingo on Wednesday, 18 May 2016, during a presentation of the hotel’s planned sport, concerts and gastronomy events for 2016, as reported in El Dinero. Torres announced that a master plan for more hotels was being drafted and that the details would be made public in due course. Torres says the Dominican Republic stands to gain for from Cuba’s opening to the US market because this will attract more tourists to the region.
