The Festival Gastronomico de la Leche will be celebrated this coming 3, 4 and 5 June 2016, once again in Higuey. Events will be held in the center-city cultural area known as Av. Antonino Valdez hijo. There will be awards for the best cheeses and for creativity in preparing dishes made with milk products from the eastern province of La Altagracia, the country’s main dairy producing region.
