Fefita la Grande wins Soberano Award

71-year old Manuela Josefa Cabrera, best known as Fefita la Grande was finally recognized for her prolific career in music, winning the top award, the Soberano at the Premios Soberano that took place yesterday evening, Tuesday 31 May 2016 at the National Theater in Santo Domingo.

The Soberano Awards are organized by the Association of Show Business Reporters (Acroarte) and honor the best of local music, TV, radio, theater, classical, arts and movies. This year’s show was hosted by Cheddy Garcia and Irving Alberti.
