Judicial Branch rulings and court resolutions are now available online, announces the Judicial Branch Council (CPJ). To access the information, enter your email address in the following Judicial Branch web page: http://www.poderjudicial.gob.do/formularios/form_solicitud_electr_scj.aspx
The new facility falls under the Sistema de Gestion y de Centros de Informacion y Orientacion Ciudadana (CIOC) and will simplify work for lawyers who will no longer have to visit the court to find out if the case has been decided. A personal visit, nevertheless, is still needed in order to obtain a certified copy of the decision.
